About Us The staff of the Chesapeake ADHD Center of Maryland works as an integrated team under the clinical direction of Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D., founder and clinic director. Our multi-disciplinary group provides a range of services to clients of all ages with issues related to attention and learning disorders from pre-school years through retirement years. Staff Development Our staff is committed to providing the highest quality of care and engage in frequent case conferences, clinical supervision sessions, and continuing education programs in our efforts to meet this goal. Case Conference The Chesapeake staff meets together in case conferences to discuss client treatment, to coordinate treatment efforts when more than one staff member is involved with a particular individual or family, and to gain information about resources that may benefit our clients. Continuing Education Seminar Our staff meets on a monthly basis for ongoing training provided by clinic director, Kathleen Nadeau, as part of our efforts to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD (ADD), learning disorders, and related conditions. These seminars have been recognized by the Maryland Board of Psychologists which has approved continuing education credits to psychologists on our staff who participate in these seminars. Clinical Supervision All of our clinical staff is highly experienced and fully licensed, with the exception of psychology associates working under the direct supervision of our senior staff. Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D., meets in ongoing supervision with many members of our staff in order to help them further develop their already extensive clinical skills. Ongoing development of services We make every effort to stay current about new issues, concerns and treatment approaches related to ADHD (ADD) and will continue to add information about new services at our clinic as they are developed. Learning more about our staff members Each staff member brings a particular area of interest and expertise to the clinic, in addition to their general expertise in working with individuals with ADHD (ADD), learning disorders, and related conditions.
