To contact Melanie Patt-Corner,
please call our main office at 301-562-8448.
I have been a professional organizer since 2004, when I founded Cabin John Organizing. I grew up in a family with ADD members, raised children who have ADD, and have learned over the years what works and what doesn’t work in terms of helping them get organized.
I believe that rooms get cluttered because you don’t have a “home” for all of your possessions. I can help you decide which of your things you want to keep, which rooms they should live in, and where in each room they should be kept. I believe in using simple and individualized systems, common sense, a good sense of humor, and the proper containers for the job.
Each person is different, with different needs and learning styles. I will talk with you to determine your unique needs and then work with you to clear out clutter and create a home that is orderly and serene.
I am available from Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, and work in blocks of three hours at a time. I work in southern Montgomery County, northern Fairfax County, and NW Washington. I do not charge for travel time as long as you are within the areas listed above.
