Groups Child Group Social Skills Group forGirls with ADHD (Grades 4-6) Many children with ADHD have difficulty navigating social relationships. Learning how to communicate with words, gestures, tone of voice, etc are all important skills for children to learn. This is a structured social skills group for girls with ADHD. Each session will focus on different goals, and weekly "homework" assignments will be a way for the participants to practice what they have learned in each session. The group will meet on Tuesday's 4:30-5:30PM beginning on January 15th. The cost of the group is $60 per session, and a commitment for the 8 sessions is required. At Home with ADD Support Group for Parents with ADD Being a stay-at-home parent can be very rewarding. For the parents with ADD, it can pose a significant dilemma as well. We expect ourselves to be a patient child care provider, teacher, housekeeper, wise shopper, organizer, schedule keeper, and time manager. But we are also expected to be loving spouses and good friends and taxi cab drivers. This is a tall order even for the average super parent. If you are looking for friendly support and an opportunity to share ideas and successes, come join us on Tuesday mornings 10:00 - 11:30. This 8 week group is being offered by Gina Jadwisiak, LCSW-C, and will begin as soon as spaces are filled, so please call or email us if you would like to sign up, or if you have any questions. The cost is $90 per session. A commitment for all 8 sessions is requested. Adolescent Group Therapy Group for Teenagers with ADD (ages 13-16) Being a teenager can be difficult enough, and having ADHD can make these years even more of a challenge. Join us for an 8-week group where you can meet other teens with ADHD and share about your friendships, family, and school life. The group is a great place to let off steam, get feedback from others, practice new skills, and build a stronger network. This group is offered by Gina Jadwisiak, LCSW-C, and will meet on Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:30pm . The cost of the group is $90 per session, and a commitment for the 8 sessions is required. Once we have enough interest and participants a start date will be set. ADD in the Workplace Therapy Group for Adults with ADD No current groups are being formed.
